Memphis is considered one of the largest cities in Tennessee so naturally, there are a large selection of neighborhoods in the city. The neighborhoods range from lively to residential to historic to all encompassing. The neighborhoods in Memphis are split into districts with their own individual neighborhoods within them. The districts and neighborhoods are as follows:

Downtown
